Conditioning / Surface Sizing

Surface sizing is first and foremost intended to achieve impregnation of the surface in order to improve resistance properties and penetration. The applied surface sizing liquid adds further bonds to the fiber network and closes pores.

Additives not only alter physical and optical qualities, they also increasingly affect technical properties. They can also regulate fine grading of penetration speed and thus improve printability, sliding performance, and scratch resistance of delicate surfaces.
