The dif­fer­ent mod­els meet the require­ments for stan­dardized flow cups. A spe­cial loop han­dle of stain­less steel mounted on the side facil­i­tates the han­dling of the dip cup (pro­tected ver­sion “GM N0. 7146399”)

Pro­ce­dure

• Immerse dip cup with upper rim below the sur­face of the liquid
• Simul­ta­ne­ously with ver­ti­cal with­drawal of cup, start stop-watch
• Stop when stream of liquid under the ori­fice breaks
• For eval­u­a­tion pur­poses carry out three mea­sure­ments
• The aver­age value of these three mea­sure­ments is taken as the efflux time
