Change in Adhesives & Sealants personnel at BYK Additives & Instruments
Wesel, February 27, 2015. – As of January 1, 2015 there has been a personnel change in the Adhesives & Sealants department. Tobias Austermann, formerly a member of the sales team at BYK specializing in adhesives and sealants, has been appointed successor to Jan Lenz, the previous head of department.
Tobias Austermann studied construction chemistry at HAWK, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts based at Holzminden, Hildesheim and Göttingen, and after graduating undertook a variety of roles as head of laboratory within the central research department of BASF Construction Chemicals GmbH, focussing on adhesives and sealants.
Building on this, he headed the European development laboratory for water-based building adhesives of Akzo Nobel N.V. at Schönox GmbH from 2010 till 2013, when he joined BYK.
