In-Store Color Matching

In-store Color Formulation Systems

BYK-Gardner’s in-store color formulation systems will increase paint sales and profits, create store traffic, build customer loyalty and bring a more professional image to your store. Now you can formulate custom color matches in your store as the customer waits, instead of one or two days later.

As part of the Altana Group and its 21 worldwide paint specialty and additive companies, BYK-Gardner delivers unparalleled paint knowledge and expertise with every one of our systems. When you buy from us, you’re not just buying an instrument, but a wealth of paint knowledge as well.

BYK-Gardner’s in-store color formulation systems provide:
• The best first time custom color matches in the industry
• The lowest cost systems on the market
• Real paint expert support
• Reduced paint mistints and increased profits
• Electronic Competitive Fandecks that increase paint sales by matching competitive colors
• Easy-to-use software that enhances your store’s productivity
• The most flexibility in the market – you’re not tied to someone else doing your database work

A complete custom color formulation system consists of:
• BYK-Gardner spectrophotometer
• BYK-Gardner in-store color matching software
• Paint database(s) created in the laboratory from your paint
• PC, monitor, keyboard, printer and cable, connectors

We will provide all of the above components in a complete system, or you may elect to provide some of the components yourself, such as the laboratory paint database work, or the PC.  Each component is sold separately, or we can provide turnkey system pricing.  In addition, we can also assist you in selecting an automatic or manual colorant dispenser (not sold by BYK-Gardner) to complete your system.

Can’t afford a complete system right now?

BYK-Gardner also provides the industry with a lookup system where everything you need is contained in a portable spectrophotometer – no need for software, computer, or additional database work. You simply store all of your fandeck colors in the memory of the unit, and you are ready to go (see spectro-guide for more information).
