6000 Film Thickness Gages
The PosiTector 6000 series measures coating
thickness on any metal. These gages are available
in three different versions with the features listed
below: basic, standard, and memory. According to
different application needs, BYK-Gardner offers various
models with either a built-in or separate probe. Separate
probes are interchangeable with each other and can be
ordered separately.

Standard Models include features of the basic model plus the following

Average, min/max, standard deviation, and number of readings continuously displayed

Hi-Lo feature audibly and visually alerts when measurements exceed your specified limits

Lock mode prevents accidental adjustment of settings

User-controlled time-out interval for easy shut down

HI-RES mode increases displayed resolution

Storage of up to 250 readings and built-in infra-red port for printing to a wireless printer

USB port for simple connection to a PC

Optional PosiSoft software and serial cable to download readings to a PC
Memory Models include the basic and standard model features plus:

Memory storage of 10,000 readings in up to 1000 batches - stored readings can be sub-grouped, viewed, updated or deleted

Built-in clock to date and time stamp each stored read

Supplied with PosiSoft Windows® statistical analysis software and USB cable

Multiple stored calibration adjustments for measuring on a variety of substrates
