CLAYTONE rheology additives from BYK are based on natural phyllosilicates and for usage in solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. CLAYTONE rheology additives are organically modified, natural phyllosilicates for universal usage in solvent-borne and in solvent-free systems. They provide a thixotropic flow behavior and significantly improve the anti-settling properties, the storage stability, and the sag resistance. CLAYTONE additives are mainly effective in the low and mid shear range. There are different types available to match the polarity of systems to which they are added. CLAYTONE rheology additives can be used in all solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings, construction formulations, adhesives and sealants, printing inks, thermosets, lubricants, and household, institutional, and industrial cleaners.
