Plastisoles de PVC
We are facing some problems in separating the PVC film from the release paper. Do you have some products that can help?
For your special application, I would recommend BYK®-P 4100. Dosage should be between 0.1-0.5%.
After changing from phthalate plasticizers like DINP to phthalate-free like DOTP I am facing migration problem in the final product.
Low compatible viscosity depressants like hdrocarbons are less compatible with DOTP. Our recommendation is to use Viscobyk 5120.
In the final product I observe microfoam which results in poor quality.
Air is entrapped by mixing the PVC plastisol or the coating process. We recommend to add 0,5 phr of BYK 3155.
When I increase the filler in my plastisol, the viscosity is too high and I have to add too much viscosity depressant.
The best cost performance can be achieved by adding BYK 1165 to the filled plastisol. Dosage should be 1 % on filler.
After changing from phthalate plasticizer like DINP to phthalate-free like DOTP I see some plate-out on my calendering rollers.
In slow gelling systems the risk of migration of internal and external lubricants is increased. We recommend to replace all lubricants by BYK P 4100. The dosage of the additive should be reduced by at least 50%.
