SCONA is BYK´s multifaceted family of thermoplastics modifiers. The SCONA group includes dispersing aids, compatibilizers, adhesion promoters, and coupling agents designed to improve the mechanical properties of mainly thermoplastics and advanced composites. SCONA additives are based on different polymers to match the system to which they are added. They receive a specific grafting to achieve the required product profile.
