NANOBYK is BYK's trade name for additives with nanosized particles. NANOBYK additives contain SiO2 or Al2O3 particles which improve scratch and abrasion resistance as well as UV-protection of systems. Du to the very small particle size, they are not visible ins transparent coatings. NANOBYK can be used in various systems, such as solvent-borne, solvent-free, aqueous and radiation curing systems
