PFAS-free process additives facilitate faster production speeds and shorter downtimes

BYK Additives will be presenting a new generation of process aids at this year’s K 2025 in Düsseldorf. Not only is the new polymer processing aid (PPA) BYK-MAX P 4110 PFAS-free; at the same time, it also facilitates faster production speed, prevents melt fracture, and reduces build-up on dies, resulting in reduced cleaning efforts and, consequently, shorter downtimes for customers.
BYK Additives stellt auf der diesjährigen K 2025 in Düsseldorf eine neue Generation von Prozesshilfsmittel vor. Das neue polymere Prozesshilfsmittel (PPA) BYK-MAX P 4110 ist nicht nur PFASfrei, es ermöglicht gleichzeitig eine höhere Produktionsgeschwindigkeit, verhindert Schmelzebruch und reduziert die Ablagerung an den Düsen, was zu einem geringeren Reinigungsaufwand und somit zu kürzeren Stillstandzeiten beim Kunden führt.
At this year’s K 2025 in Düsseldorf, BYK will be presenting an innovative solution for the long-term UV stabilization of polyamides and polyolefin composites. The new additive was specifically developed to preserve the properties and surface quality of plastics in the long term when exposed to light, since polyamide-based components suffer a deterioration of their properties and surface quality when subjected to longer-lasting exposure to light.
BYK stellt auf der diesjährigen K 2025 in Düsseldorf eine innovative Lösung zur langfristigen UV-Stabilisierung von Polyamiden und Polyolefin-Gemischen vor. Das neue Additiv wurde speziell entwickelt, um die Eigenschaften und Oberflächenqualität von Kunststoffen unter Lichteinfluss nachhaltig zu schützen, da Bauteile auf Polyamidbasis bei längerer Lichteinwirkung unter einer Verschlechterung ihrer Eigenschaften und Oberflächenqualität leiden.
